How to save money on MEAT!

Hey everyone,
People always talk about how hard it is to save money on the essentials ( like bread, meat, veggies)
Well did you know that most grocery stores have a section in their meat dept with ''discounted'' meat?
This is meat that is soon expiring, so the meat dept puts $ off stickers on them.
Depending on your preference of cut/quality of meat you can save a lot of money if you buy soon to expire meat, because all you need to do is freeze them as soon as you get home.
Frozen meat can last quite a long time regardless of expiry date.
If the cut/quality looks great and there's a $ off sticker I'd definitely be more likely to buy it then I would full price meat.

Do you buy discounted meat?

I do this all the time. I buy it in the mornings at 30% or more off but if I had bought it the night before I would have paid full price. Seems like a simple way to save if you ask me.

I have done this in the past although you do have to be careful. I once bought discounted pork loin chops that looked fine from Food Basics but when I opened the pack the same day, they were bad, Thankfully Basics has a good return policy.
